Turkey Anyone? I think that a lot of people skim over Thanksgiving for some reason. A lot of the challenges and cards that I seen through out the year seem to do this.. even the stores go right into Christmas. I think it's sad, because Thanksgiving is important too!
For my card today, I am entering it into 2 challenges the first one is over at cupcake craft challenges challenge-115-thank-you-with-autumnal and the other one is delightful sketches new-challenge-and-releases.html!
For the first challenge you needed to create something that was Autumnal and nothing says that to me more than a Turkey. For the second challenge you needed to do faux stitching. The digital image that I used is from digital delights by loubyloo. I colored my turkey with my copics and then cut him out. I used some patterned paper that I had that seemed to go great with my turkey. I put fall in his sign that he's holding. I used some ribbon that I had on hand. I used my white gel pen for the faux stitching. My card stock is from PaperTrey Ink.
I did finally break out the sewing machine because I am making some curtains for my craft room! I did try it with my card stock too! You may start to see some projects with it soon!
I hope you enjoy my card!
